This was my second-time attending the ED4 safety clinic. The first time, my truck was new to me and I was hesitant to push it hard. Every small scraping sound (which is very frequent with that long wheel base) would cause me to worry. In the two intervening years, I had already done enough cosmetic damage, so I felt more comfortable to push its limits under the guidance of expert ED4 spotters!
I see off-roading as a tool to get places, and the ED4 safety clinic definitely gave me the courage to get to some of those places. Like Toroweap Overlook, or the Crowley Lake Columns: I knew my truck was capable of those obstacles, and for that I have to thank the ED4 safety clinic. Thanks for being a very welcoming, encouraging community -- as a beginner who still has so much to learn, I never felt judged in this environment, and that's important.
