Safety Clinic May 2024

Report: Charles Miller
Trip Report: Esprit de Four Safety Clinic

Attending the Esprit de Four Safety Clinic at Hollister Hills was an exciting and fun experience.
Arriving at Hollister Hills the night before the clinic, I set up my camp and joined the group around the campfire. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with everyone sharing their off-roading adventures. Wayne generously supplied some fine drinks, adding to the camaraderie of the evening.

I woke up bright and early at 5 AM, ready to start the day. After a quick breakfast, I met with Joanna and Jeff to go over the day's plan. I was thrilled to be assigned the role of mid-runner for the blue group.

As the students began to arrive, I was already making good friends. It was a pleasant surprise that all the Ford Broncos were in our group, which gave me an excellent opportunity to share my experiences with the new Ford Bronco. This common interest helped to bond our group quickly.

Once we hit the trails, I paid close attention to Joanna’s directions, ensuring we stayed on course. Throughout the day, I checked in with our group regularly, offering helpful hints, listening to their concerns, and guiding them through various obstacles. The participants were enthusiastic and eager to learn, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, the event ran very smoothly, thanks to the hard work and planning of everyone involved. It was a privilege to be part of such an awesome event, and I am grateful for the opportunity.

Thank you again for including me in this fantastic experience.
